Since 2017, I have spent a majority of my artistic focus on character design. Being my main passion, I have developed countless characters of my own and find deep enjoyment when drawing them.

Since 2017, I have spent a majority of my artistic focus on character design. Being my main passion, I have developed countless characters of my own and find deep enjoyment when drawing them.

Such characters have been developed for personal story production purposes. Some characters are original concepts, whereas others are attached to existing media.

Design Process

Since February 2025, I have focused my character design efforts on my own fan cast. The following images portray the improvements with each iteration of the character designs. These characters have grown a small fan base within the community they were created for, one that I currently make consistent content for.

As stated, Genoverse has been the largest creative motivator fueling my artwork. Below is a gallery featuring artwork of these characters through their development. From full pieces to comics and sketches, these pieces dive deeper into the creative process behind my works.

Genoverse

From the former cast depicted comes my original work, Genoverse, a fan depiction of The Living Tombstone’s creative world. Through fleshing out existing characters and building my own off of the world’s concepts, Genoverse has been an active story in development for over a year.

Hours of work, thought, and love have been poured into this project, both independently and through collaboration with fellow artists. In tandem, this story has pushed me to create more art than I ever have, resulting in a major spike in the quality of my art.

Genoverse has pushed me to pass creative hurdles I had formerly struggled to tackle. I created my first-ever comics as well as a dedicated cover image for my story, depicted to the right.

Character Impact

As stated prior, Geno, Chance, and Creed have cultivated a small base of dedicated fans. While these characters are based on the world created by The Living Tombstone, they have earned recognition within the community, even been seen by several of the band’s members.

Fellow artists have shown their appreciation of these characters through means of craft, both digitally and physically. These characters garnering such positive attention encourages me to keep creating for them, whether it be art, comics, stories, crafts, etc.

While honing in on Genoverse has been my main personal project, I have plenty of other original character designs that I have developed throughout my time as an artist.

Fan Works
